Simulation scripts used in Simulation with Real World Network Stacks

This page contains simulation scripts used in the following paper:

Simulation with Real World Network Stacks. Sam Jansen and Anthony McGregor. Proceedings of the Winter Simulation Conference '05. Orlando, Florida. December 2005.

The simulations used the network simulator ns-2 version 2.27. The results using real world stacks use the Network Simulation Cradle, of which version 0.0.1 is available.

Usage: just run the run-sims.sh script.

# sh run-sims.sh
(sender)/(receiver)
(statistic output)

...

#

Note: The simulation script is the same used in the paper, but the shell script to run many simulations is somewhat different. In the paper 100 different seeds are used for each sender/receiver pair. The setup of simulation runs was different because initially a larger parameter space was explored in a different simulation framework. The information given here is intended to be enough to reproduce or be very close to reproducing the results in the paper.
