Description

When configuring an interface to operate on an Ad-Hoc link the configuration system needs to take into account the mixture of cards that are in use on the link.

If only madwifi based cards are used the interface should be configured in PIM mode.

If non-madwifi cards are used on the link then the interface must be configured in standard 802.11 compliant IBSS (Ad-Hoc) mode.
