Description

The configuration system needs to be extended to support a class of hosts known as CPEs. Actions for these devices in the configuration system should be:

  • Show current location on network
  • Show current traffic
  • Show the user logged in via the CPE

And should allow the CPE to be upgraded and manipulated.

This enhancement will involve certificate management for the CPEs which should build upon the infrastructure that is developed for RuralLink tickets #54, #55, #56 and #57

Configuration setup for CPE devices was achieved in r1268.

Further work is required to integrate this with the customer and billing information so that at a glance you can see which CPE a customer is currently using. Or via a CPE serial number/mac address lookup a customers account details.
